The title of this Bible study is: THE 144,000 IS THE SAME GREAT CROWD
After a great deal of prayer and research it has become glaringly obvious that the 144000 and the Great Crowd are one and the same, servants of God that come out of the tribulation. Now before going into Revelation 7 notice Johns style of writing switching from what he hears and then correlating to what he sees! In Revelation 1:10 John finds himself in the spirit on the Lords day. Notice he hears a great voice like a trumpet saying I am the first and the last and he is given audible instructions then in verse12 he turns and sees…one like a son of man and goes on to detail the glorified Christ. He uses similar audible visual devices throughout Revelation.
Now notice Revelation 7:2-17 He sees an angel that cries out in a loud voice…harm not…till Gods servants are sealed…And then I heard how many were sealed….of the sons of Isreal,144,000.12,000 of Judah and this voice calls out 12,000 out of 12 tribes. Then in verse 9 says, “After this I Looked and a great crowd appeared which no one could count out of all tribes, nations” etc. So he is contrasting symbolic language with what he saw! 144000 is a symbolic number since the Lord would not mix symbolic tribes with literal numbers. 144 is a multiple of 12 x 1000 (read the measurement of the temple in chapter 21, and in special the number 144 (i.e 12 x 12) in verse 17) Also Revelation 7:3 calls them His servants and verse15 says they serve God day and night. But wait there’s much more!
The Great Crowd stand before the throne, they cry out in a loud voice saying salvation we owe to God and the lamb and the144000 are being sealed, for what? ¡For salvation! They are not taking the mark of the beast! The Great Crowd also have white robes, serve in the temple and the lamb guides them to waters of life. In Revelation 9:4 there are two groups those who have God’s mark and those who have the mark of the beast. Also Revelation 11:18. There are only two groups, those who serve God and those that do not. In Revelation 13:10 we have only one group that belongs to God, those that endure the Great Tribulation.
Now in chapter 14 we have the 144000. They have God’s name on their foreheads and their voices are thunderous and they follow the lamb and they are without blemish and before the throne of God, ¿sound familiar? Very close to the description of the Great Crowd.
Then in chapter 15 we see those who have come off victorious from the beast, and they sang the song of Moses which is a song of victory and salvation, isn’t that what the great crowd were singing?! And they sing the lamb’s song extolling the virtues and awesomeness of our Father! It describes them as coming off victorious. ¿From what? They came out of the great tribulation faithful, just like the great crowd!
Now in chapter 19 we have the shout of a great crowd in heaven praising God for their salvation, His power and glory, and his judgment against the harlot and vengance for the blood of his servants.
And again in Revelation 19:6 the Great Crowd shouts praises sounding like waves crashing and peals of thunder, Praise YAH, He is the omnipotent ruler! Shouting the good news of the lamb’s marriage to the bride God’s people in fine white linen which is righteous standing with God!
Then in Revelation 20:4 again we see those who did not accept the mark, and live again and rule with Christ. There is not a second class. Just sheep and goat. Those who accept God’s mark and those who accept the mark of the beast.
Revelation 22:14 concludes: Happy and to be envied are those who cleanse their garments that they may have authority and right to approach the tree of life and enter into the gates of the city.
P.S: If you decide to test this word, check all the cross reference scriptures and you will see there are only two groups, those for God and those against Him. The two class teaching is another demonically inspired teaching given to the Rutherford, definitely the spirit of the man of lawlessness and antichrist! What’s amazing is chapter 19. It shows the Great Crowd to be definitely in heaven so the Watchtower say this is talking about a great crowd of angels! Just dumbfounding!
The “Teach” book of the Watchtower (spanish edition), pages 218 to 219, says:
¿Who is Michael the Archangel?
The Word of God does not say anywhere that there are two armies of faithful angels, one headed by Michael and one by Jesus. Therefore, it is logical to conclude that Michael is none other than Jesus Christ in heaven.
The Watchtower 2010, April first, page 19, the spanish edition translated into English.
Is Jesus Michael the Archangel?
So Michael the archangel is Jesus before coming to Earth. After his resurrection he returned to heaven, and he resumed his service as Michael, the chief angel, “for the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2 verse 11).
The Watchtower claim that since 1914 Michael the archangel performs his duties in heaven as king …
However, this teaching does not match at all with what we read in Hebrews 2 verse 5
The American Standard Version, says
For not unto angels did he subject the world to come, whereof we speak.
Amplified Bible renders as follows:
For it was not to angels that God subjected the habitable world of the future, of which we are speaking.
King James Version renders this verse as follows:
For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.
So you see that is impossible for an archangel to rule the world to come, and the reason is simple according to Acts 2 verse30, which says:
Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne. King James Version.
So we see that a man according to the flesh, and not a spirit being, will sit on David’s throne. The watchtower contradicts the Bible in this fundamental doctrine of the holy Scriptures. ¿Who, then, is a real apostate? Well, the Watchtower society of the Jehovah’s Witnesses.
